What is THCV?
THCV or tetrahydrocannabivarin is one of the rare cannabinoids, found in the Cannabis sativa species. Due to its relative sparsity, it is a minor cannabinoid compared to the major ones THC and CBD. THCV isolate is a highly purified, isolated form of THCV. Since it is a homolog of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with a propyl (3-carbon) side-chain instead of a pentyl (5-carbon) group on the molecule, it generates different effects than THC.
